Nice hotels in London?

  1. I'm going to London for a couple of days in September to see A Perfect Circle and the Deftones at Wembley. Do you guys know of any nice (read cheap) hotels in London? There will be two of us in a single room, we don't need much. Just a personal sauna, free minibar and... escorts. ;) :D

I stayed in Prince William Hotel, located north-side of Hyde Park, near Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations - approx two blocks northwards from Lancaster and two westward from Paddys - so you have quick access to most tube lines(apparently not to the one's that go to Wembley, you need one swap for that). Pretty nice, small hotel, and not too expensive either.

They don't have fridges in the rooms but I managed to keep my Guinness cans cold by keeping them on the balcony-like ledge outside the window ;)

Oh, buy one of those Travel Cards for unlimited bus and tube use, and go check out London Dungeon while you're in London.

"London" "Nice" " Hotel" and above all "Cheap" do not fit together in the english language as far as I know..........Good Luck!

hey gunnar, are you still going to the show? i'd like (and i'll try) to go, but i don't have anyone to go with, so if you are still going would you like to have a guest? actually i won't be a pain in the ass, im small and handy in case i have to sneak in or something. :D

pm me if you want to chat about it please.

uh, by the way, is anyone else going? we could do a TB meeting at the concert and have a few drinks and what not before the show.

  7. Love to, you've got PM. :)

If anyone else wants to hook up then, let me know. But I'll only be in London for two nights, I get there on the 18th and leave on the 20th. School and work, you see.

try looking thru each locale, and finding the "cheap" hotels. or try the "Staying with the Locals" or the "University Residences" headings.
