    The Washburn Taurus T24 can usually be found pretty cheap and has decent build quality. I never dug the looks or sound of it myself so I didn't keep it that long, but it was a well built instrument.

    What qualifies as inexpensive?

    I'm a little bit spoiled because I can't find anything that works better for me than my $350 franken-Jazz. Well, nothing short of a Modulus or maybe a Kinal that I tried once, but I'm not ready to sell a kidney...
