Saw this tour last night at the Masonic in SF.
Cap'd vids from 6th row center.

Guy Pratt was terrific on Bass.

Oh, wonderful!!! The only time I'd seen Nick was in June 1973 for the DSOTM tour, and they did a bunch of this stuff, then. :hyper:

Excellent! I've always liked Guy Pratt's playing. I got to see Nick with Floyd back in 1987 on their Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour.

  4. If my math is correct, Guy Pratt has been Pink Floyd's (unofficial) bass player longer than Roger Waters at this point. I think Pratt's a skilled bassist, but I wasn't all that happy with his poppy disco-ish style on the post-Roger albums compare to Waters, though I'm not sure how much of that has to do with Gilmour's songwriting after Roger quit. Clearly when he's playing this older stuff he knows how to keep it straightforward.

Good to see Nick Mason getting out there and performing and keeping the pre-Dark Side stuff alive, too.
