i've been looking at some of the reviews of the DR lo riders on this site, and they seem like something i would like on one of my P basses. which one (nickel or steel), would compliment my fender the best? all opinions welcome! also, does the steel version eat your frets a la rotosound? thanks all

  2. i say steels, and steels will wear away frets quicker than nickle cause its harder. but hey, you got to pay to play....

I just bought the Nickels today and put them on and so far i like them. They have given my bass a little more spice then the D'addario that I had on there.

Anyway I say Nickel I don't want the fret ware from steel.
