    Just felt like sharing:
Looks like we're getting a gig in a couple weeks 'headlining' and playing after Michelle Rundgren (her and Todd live here). Could be cool...

It was a Mardi Gras party basically. we played for 2 hours and the show went Really well. We busted out some techno/dance jams and people were Freaking out. We did a couple Meters tunes and also a couple by Curtis Mayfield. Mrs. Rundgren came up and sang on the last song - she liked us a lot and wants to have us on her radio show. There's a nice little buzz going...next week we're at The Shack.

Man, I like your selection of artists. That's such a cool gig!

  8. Nope...never heard of them - are they big in America or something? - have they got a band...?

(sorry for sounding stupid, but "Michelle and Todd" could be 2 monkeys being observed from the BBC program "Wildlife on one"...)

Michelle's not "big", but she's working, and that's somethin'. Todd used to be pretty huge, most especially in the 70's. I'm happy to see that he is still active and working in music after all these years.

Last time I saw Todd Rundgren play, it was in '89. I was preggers with my 16 y.o. son. Kid kicked my ribs in time with the rhythm section allll night. No wonder he's tryin' to play drums, now! :)

I didn't really know much about Michele..apparently she was in a band called The Tubes in the '70's and was a singer in Todd's bands. Now she does comedy, hehe. She did have a band over here called the North Shore Sluts at one time...
