    Hi Justin,

I did a quick search on the site but couldn't find an answer.. sorry if its been asked before..

A question about your Geddy J from the NIN tour.. curious if you where using Rounds, or Halfrounds? Rotosounds??

I've heard that the Model J pickups roll off some the higher freq definition.. wondering if what would be perceived as a brighter sounding string on stock Geddy J pups would be more muted coming through Model J's?

Thanks for participating on these boards.. I'm a big fan!

    Rounds, D'Addario XL160.

Yes, the strings appear a tiny bit more muted out of the Model J's. In a satisfying way. They are not innately zingy pickups at all, though a pedal on the other end rectifies that if desired. (e.g. Sans VT bass)
