I had parts to put a bass together. It was getting pretty expensive and I didn't want to screw it up. So I decided to seek professional help. That professional would be Nino.
This is the "Geddy Lakland" I've been occasionally posting about.

    Specs:
MIM Jazz body bought from Philthy
    Allparts neck
Bartolini Classic Bass series MM and J pups
    Bartolini NTBT preamp
    3 way selector on MM pup(series/bridge single/parallel)
    graphite nut
    Schecter tuners
    Dunlop straplocks.

now for the GAS inducing pics

  3. Cool bass, very unique.

  4. I think we should give Fender and Geddy some omage as to recreating about the coolest looking jazz bass there is.

That was a good decision, but Im sure you'll really figure that out when you recieve the bass.

That bass looks incredible and I bet it plays and sounds as good as it looks. Nino really knows what he's doing.

Black knobs? I dunno, but chrome looks good on it, too. But if you do put them on, will it also have black tuners?

And Nino, I cant see that Valenti logo - yet :D

  9. I like that I lot! I love blocks and binding no matter what!

it'd still have chrome tuners. although since I can't find my black knobs, I may steal the chrome knobs off my SX and one off my Squier.

It already has chrome knobs... why need some more knobs off your SX and Squier?

Man, very cool set-up. That's a type of pickup combo i've always had a hankering for, especially with the coil tap.

Pshaw! The headstock looks incomplete without a logo! Come on, man, we know you have it in you.
