    Hi everybody (insert Dr. Nick),

The nitro finish on my ‘66 Fender Mustang rubs off and leaves stains on my shirts. Anyone have this problem and come up with any tricks to prevent it? I don’t want to stick anything onto the back that will further damage the finish. Is there perhaps some kind of cellophane that will adhere to the back without any sort of glue?

Heres a possible solution. Though it uses adhesive. I don’t think anything would stick without adhesive. Don’t know if they have clear. https://www.axewrap.com/instructions

Not sure there is a solution other than a big-ass Bobby Vega shark sticker on the back of the bass.

Always wanted a chance to be the first person putting play-wear onto a 60s Fender bass in NOS condition. Be careful what you wish for!

Trust me, I never break a sweat playing bass. The guitar players would throw fits if I played that many notes.
