It looks like there is a demo NL-210 for sale at a very good price up at Steve Clark's store, The Bassment!

Yow, nearly 800 for a floor model. I didn't realize these went for around a grand new. Neat little cabs though.

Yeah, I saw that one the other day. Would pair up perfect with my current rig; but I got my eye on a doghouse...or a DJ5. :)

True. I've got two NL-210's already, and I'm just passing this info along for another TBer to use. :)

  6. Thanks for the note Tom. I was the one that was bugging a few of you, including Steve, over the last couple months. Steve emailed me a couple days ago to tell me about the sale. A couple minutes before, I had just won a demo model from another Canadian retailer. :hyper: I got a sweet deal, but if it hadn't worked out, I would've bought Steve's before it even made it out on his site's demo sale. :D

It should be here in a few days and I can't wait to try it out with one of my CXL112. Actually, I might even try it out with both my CXL112s... just to be stupid.

    Lager,
    Rocky

DO IT!! Nothing stupid about it. Look forward to your report.

Hey, did you mean later or "lager". Mmmm, lager.

    Slainte,

    Steve

  11. The lead guitarist and lead singer of the band I'm playing with the next couple of weeks have heard my 2 CXL112s many times. When I told them I would be ADDING a 210, they thought it was stupid, very funny, but stupid. They laughed... good guys. We are all looking forward to hearing the big "mini" rig. I'll take pictures. :hyper:

As for the "lager", I have been signing that way for about 10 years. Most people don't notice or just assume I meant "later". I love a good Canadian Lager. Mooshead is my favorite these days.

    Lager,
    Rocky

Yes, but don't you hate the antler marks they leave on your thighs? :p:bag:

  13. Don't you have bass gear to buy??? ;)

LOL! Good one! :p Sorry, but that reminded me too much of an old (but not necessarily good!) joke. Sometimes, I am too much of a smart @$$ for my own good...

  15. LOL! Just make sure you try Moosehead if/when you make it up to our beautiful, but cold country! BTW, snow is good to keep beer cold, but beer is exceptionally good in our 90+ humid temperatures.

    lager,

Is the Canadian Moosehead different from what they import to the US? It is generally available here (and a fine lager), but I know that Molson and Labatt both have some differences between their import and export brands.

    Tom.

  17. I'll try to be diplomatic about it.... Canadian beer tastes better up here... eh!

True enough! No argument, there. I'm not too far from the border, so I do get up to Windsor and the Canadian side of Lake Erie from time to time.

    Tom.

  19. Steve must be loving our "bumps" on this thread. BTW, you must know that London, and the Basement, is only about 100 miles from Windsor right? There are currently good deals on demo EA gear in the Basement. :bag:

    OK, I'm done.
