No more Mobile app...

I was a little surprised myself.

 

Oh, that sucks. Just tried out the mobile site, seems usable enough.

 

Use a browser. Works just as well and is easier to navigate with.

 

Looks like I'll be spending way less time on TB. Probably a good thing.

 

I totally agree with this. The app was brutal IMO. Much better/easier with a browser on a iPhone/smart phone IME.

I use Talkbass all the time on my phone. I lasted 10 minutes with the app.

 

Not knowing what a mobil app is, I'm clearly missing the Chicken Little moment.

Paul has explained the issue more fully and responded to a variety of questions and requests.

 

The website is responsive and works very well on smaller devices. I am not sure why people are so worried about having to use it. I hated tapatalk and had no idea so many people used it and liked it.

I've never understood why anyone would use the app. Any phone or tablet that supports the app has a browser that's perfectly capable of going to talkbass.

 

I agree. Tapatalk sucks. Without an announcement, some of us would never have known.

 

Will this be a repeat of the moaning when the forum software was changed? The sky is falling, I'm rage quitting? Time to go make some popcorn and watch the show.

 

Exactly what I was going to say. One of the advantages to updating the forum software is that the mobile site is just as easy to use as the full site. Seriously.
