No silks?

    I tried the search function but came up empty...

    Is there a listing anywhere of strings that don't have silks? (I hate silks!) I've been using D'Addario XL Nickel wounds (no silks!) but am wondering if there are any other manufacturers that don't put silks on the strings.

    Ernie Ball Regular Slinky Bass 50/70/85/105 roundwounds have no silk

    The set of DR hi beams I picked up recently have no silks as well.

    Add to this: LaBella Nickel Plated Series (formerly Slappers), and the new Stainless Series, formerly called Hard Rockin' Steel (new ones, same string but no silk). Sadowsky's (both series) are also un-silked.

    I've never seen Sadowsky's without silk.

    (I only included HiBeams, Sunbeams, Lo-Riders, Nickel LoRiders because I figured if someone doesn't want the color of silk why would they want the entire string colored... hehe
