    On Monday: Physiology and Medicine

    Tuesday: Physics

...some time after that during this week...Chemistry.

    ...eventually: Literature.

The Peace prize, the biggy, isn't until December, so you still have time to save the world to win it! :p

(And I don't know when the Economics one is....although it's not an "official" Nobel Prize, per se. It's something like "In the honor of Alfred Nobel...")

Anyway, for physics (the only one that I really care about, anyway!), I'm willing to bet it'll be another low temperature theorist or experimentalist. Not that I have the finger on the pulse of the physics community; it's just that they've won like five of the last seven or something like that.

(...This is a very poorly researched thread. lol)

    ...So... :hyper:

edit: 4 for 7. in your FACE, astrophysicists! :spit: :p

But there is for being a magnificent bastard (The Lars S. Heigenberger Award for Creative Bastardry), and I'm running 6-0 on that bad boy.

I was watching ET's coverage of the event. Anyone catch Rigoberta Menchu Tum in the latest Dismero dress? Very flattering. Desmond Tutu pimped out the latest Armani.

Message to Ahmed Zewail: Just because you're a chemist is no excuse for bad lines! Stop trying to save Fred Perry, he's already lost it! Get out while you still can.

In other news, I thought 50 Cents' performance really stole the show.

No dollar bill signs on the suit?

    No goblet?

That had better just be his weekend wear.

There should be a nobel prize for music. Not sure who I'd nominate... Philip Glass? Herbie Hancock? Oscar Peterson? James Brown?

I like the sound of that "Nobel Prize Winner James Brown."
