    Fender Noel Redding Jazz Bass...it's basically a custom shop version of his bass...it looks awesome...:D

    I got one a few weeks ago from eBay:

    It's really attractive, and the hardware is slightly different from the standard MIJ stuff--it has the reverse Kluson tuners. The neck feels really "Jazz-like." I like it but today I got a Modulus Genesis VJ, so it might be obsolete. If you're interested in buying one, let me know. Fender made 1000 of them in 97.

    Pardon? I own one. If we're talking about the same bass, they were made in 1997. There's another one on eBay right now I think.
