I Just bought this new combo
Is it normal that I already have a "sssssssss" noise, even unplugged?
    I am a bit worried

Every amp has a little bit of background noise. If you are running your mids or treble past 12 o'clock, you're going to get extra noise, but when you run it flat, the noise should be slight.

I never had a whistle in my combo, but I have considered changing that tweeter out before. But it's under warranty and I didn't want to void it.

What are you thinking of putting in that would fit? Also,
volume is a factor considering there is no attenuator for
    the horn.
