Noise with EMG active pickups and BQS preamp

    There's been a bit of noise when I leave at maximum the treble potentiometer of a BQS system (noise starts at 75% of treble) with active EMG pickups that I recently installed. I did not soldered the wire bridge and preamp cavity is shielded with copper. This is normal, since EMG pickups are noiseless?
    Another question, when I get near the bass of a notebook and a TV, I listen to a lot of interference, it would also be normal?
