NOLA Where you at?

I'm in New Orleans for vacation and would like to go to a jam session. Preferable an open jam environment somewhere downtown, midtown, uptown. I know the Maison has something on Mondays and ill go hang there, but I'm here for a week and would like some advice, where do I go?
