    Hi all,
Does anybody have any knowledge about this brand?
How do Noll active preamps compare with some other known brands?
It looks like a promising alternative for my ****ty Warwick 2-band fixed (actually,I think about buying a 3-band with a parametric mid) but I'd want to hear some more from those of you who already have such an EQ or,at least, encountered/heard/played one.

yes, i have a noll preamp in one of my basses.
it replaced another highly reputed german manufacturer's preamp ("kurandt") and was a great improvement. especially the highs are very pleasant and musical, even at full boost.
i have a 2-band eq which is very effective. at the same time, it doesn't overpower the bass' natural sound too much.

additionally i've read several reviews of basses featuring noll electronics and all mentioned the great sound.

i also owned a warwick streamer lx featuring that mec-stuff,
and you're right - they're not very good. the noll will be a definite improvement.

still, sound is very subjective. you may like something different than me.
