I've seen fender custom shop, sadosky and the likes that make a jazz bass with the rose wood fingerboard and blocks. I know it may sound silly to some. Its just what I like and I have too many maple finger board basses. I have seen the Lakland DJ but wondered if there was anything else in the sub 1500 range. Thanks in advance tb :help:

    The new Fender 70's model?

That and the DJ are pretty much the only ones I know about.

Brother, you should be able to get a DJ5 for under $1,500 new. If you can't, just keep your eyes open on Ebay.;)

Are you fixed on rosewood or would ebony suffice? If so, a Bacchus sounds like it fits the bill.

have the hollowbody listed, but they should be able to get the Standard in.

Awesome German-made basses, You can get any configuration you want for the price of the features, No extra money for making a custom order.

take a look at the California models.
