My bass, which I have owned for well over a decade has a label that says Cremona anno domini ____ on it. It is a flat back and a solid top. One shop owner said it was probably an early 60's Checzh bass. Any info on the bass or the value. It has been my only bass for my entire life, but as the shudder to think about upgrading (like selling an arm), id like to find out more about its origins.

    Thanks.

The word Cremona, like Stradavari, has been used liberally on labels in factory instruments for decades. If you want more info about your instrument, you should post some detailed pictures of the front, back, sides, neck set, scroll, tuning machines, ff holes.
