Here we have a basically brand new set of Nordstrand Big Split 5 string pickups. These have to be the biggest, cleanest sounding pickups I have ever heard. Very aggressive, like big huge single coils but with zero hum!

I got these to try in my Lakland 55-01, but I just prefer the fatter, darker, lower output of dual coil humbuckers. But if you prefer single coils...hopped up on goofenthol....these are right up your alley!

They are essentially brand new, I just peeled the tape back enough to get the screws in the holes.

$215 shipped in the USA. Paypal welcome!

I will also consider trades on wide 5 string Music Man pickups.....Bart, Nordy..whatever.

Very similar from what I understand. Splits seem to be a bit more rounded on top, and of course hum free.

Just to confirm, these are the standard spacing (19 mm) correct?

These are some of the finest pickups available. Wish I had a bass to put them in...
    Bump for awesomeness and GLWTS!

If they were only 17.5mm.... I'll probably have to order mine custom from Nordstrand

    Thanks guys!

And yes, they are awesome. So dang big and clean and Jazz bassy, that's just not what I want out of the bass I tried them in.

But after hearing these pickups I want to get a 44-01 or something and put the 4 string version of these in it. Should make the best sounding Jazz bass ever!

I will also consider trades on wide 5 string Music Man pickups.....Bart, Nordy..whatever.

Yep! That's what they did to my 55-01. The BALLSIEST J tone ever. (Wish I could have kept it!)
I was actually happier with these in PASSIVE mode on that bass. Their natural tone is so phenomenal that the preamp only served to blow the speakers out of my cabinet if not properly EQ'd.
