That ebony-topped Nordie has actually been around the block a couple of times-cross your fingers, and it may go up for sale again. I think a TBer owns it.

I love the looks of this one-very natural and woodsy. I need to live in a cabin in the middle of the woods someday....

I found this one in the gallery and it's pretty much my dream bass.

  5. That one is mine. It looks much better in person and plays/sounds even better than it looks.

I've never played a better instrument that Nordstrand. In my 30+ years of playing I have concluded that he is one of the few truly gifted luthiers. You will not find better attention to detail.

my favorite Nordstrand and probably favorite bass ever is that one:

If Jeff's bass was a double cut it could have been my favorite :)

    Time is money.
Seriously though, if I were to order one, how long would the wait time be?

You would want to get confirmation from someone like Adrian Garcia or Carey himself, but I would imagine you're looking at least 12-14 months unless one of the dealers has an open slot coming up. He's only turning out 2-3 per month. His pickup business is jammin.
