Hate to do this, but I have to. This is definitely a finesse bass, and responds AMAZINGLY to a light touch, low action, and plays like absolute butter. It's 33" scale, and one of the best sounding basses i've ever played. Construction is second to NONE. In fact, this bass is built better than the Fodera I just sold. MUCH better. Plus Carey is an outstanding individual, I can't say enough good things about him. So good a person, in fact, that I actually feel guilty for selling the bass. Believe me, it's not the bass's fault :D

    On to the specs:

    33" scale Nordstrand Singlecut
    Alder body
Ebony top (that's not paint, people!)
    Nordstrand single-coil pickups
    Sadowsky preamp
    Maple neck
    Maple fingerboard
    Incredibly lightweight

The sound? Smooth, warm, textured, with just enough raw punch in the sound to sit in the mix exceptionally well. This is the best bass i've played for a big round sound in the mix without ever getting boomy. This is the sound I would imagine the best 60's jazz on earth to have.

    $2800 including shipping/fees OBO

  2. beautiful bass mate! my missus would kill me if I bought it.

Too bad you're not a "six-string fretless kind of guy" :(

Yeah, sorry Bryan. That is a beautiful bass though.

Trades are gonna be a little hard this time around anyway since i'm saving for a purchase. (non-bass)
