Nordstrand vs bartolini OB Preamp

    Hello everybody

    I need an advice, I've decide to install a OB Preamp on my Tbird Gibson, love the design of the body but not the sound, I already installed a thunderbucker ranch 66's pups but I need more versatility, since I don't want to mode the cavity or drill the body I'm searching 3 knobs configuration preamps, I'm between nordstrand 2 band preamp vs bartolini 2 band preamp

    Any advice? There are some way to compare these 2 preamps?

    Nordstrand = transparent, less extreme gain in the controls (=more musical?)
    Bartolini = a little colored, more extreme boost/cut (less "dummy proof"?)
    Both master gain on board

    I like both very much… not very helpful here, right ?
