This bass is in excellent shape except for player scratches on the pickguard, some small blemishes underneath the clear coat, and a very small scratch on the control plate. They can be seen in the pics. The bass sounds amazing and the very comfortable neck makes it play really well! These are rarely sold and Carey only makes basses as the desire compels him to and time permits. Comes with a gig bag.

    No trades at the moment.

Free shipping to the lower 48!

This bass is also listed on Reverb.

  2. What a beauty! Why do the best basses always pop up when I’m broke?

I know the feeling. I’ve missed a few gems on here lately because it just wasn’t in the budget.

I've always wanted to try a Nordy but I just can't right now being that I just moved to a different state. Moving is expensive. Maybe next time.

There is a bass that someone is selling that I’ve played and really love, hoping to get my hands on that. Other than that, I’d be interested in the right Pensa 5 string, USA MTD Saratoga, MBasses or Moollon.

I'm definitely not great at describing neck profiles... but here goes a try... I'd say it's a modern C shaped profile. It's similar to that of the American Elite Jazz V, but feels a little bit thinner and wider, even though the measurements are likely close. It gives me a vintage vibe, with more modern conturing and it feels great from the beginning. Didn't take long to get used to. If you play 5 string jazz basses pretty regularly this will feel amazing in your hands.

Thanks a lot!!! I honestly thought it would be gone way before now. I’ve had a number of people tell me they don’t like the color. Not sure if it’s the major reason why, but it’s certainly one of the reasons.

Played a NJ 5 once briefly and it was great in every way. Love the colour.

  16. I can’t imagine not liking the color.

That’s one of the best things about it to me.

I find Nordy's the best basses out there and btw that color looks killer with pearloid but it may clash with the blocks and control guard. If I didn't have 4 I would scoop it up!
