    Very underrated.

    Sorry I don't know even if he's alive.
    Of course I hope it, I lost the only citation written on a couple of years ago Bass player issue.

    Today's Guardian newspaper has an article about how on Monday, the "Blockheads" performed their first proper gig since the death of Ian Dury in March. Norman has been a "Blockhead" since 1973 and the band was touring right up to Ian's death.

    In the 8 months since March the band have been working on atribute album "Brand New Boots and Panties" with various singers - including Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams and Keith Allen. The band are also going to work on lyrics by Ian and make them into new songs for future performance. Apart from the tribute album, there will be a new studio album from the band with Ian - much of which was recorded before his death and which will no doubt feature some great bass lines from Norman - as ever.
