This is a 2002 NOS Stingray which I bought brand new 6 months ago from a local music store. It is essentially in mint condition, 4-string fretted, black with maple fingerboard and comes with original hardshell case. PM me for more pics. I'm asking $800 or best offer. Buyer to pay shipping costs(probably around $30). Paypal accepted.

Have you had any offers yet?

I have $500 cash and a mint condition Redline Monocog Mountain Bike frame with fork and wheel set worth $300.

I want the bass but I haven't sold the bike yet just thought I'd see if there was any other bikers out there.

    Thanks
    Charlie

Not a dumb question. I never heard it either and I've been obsessed with EB basses for a while. What exactly doesn new old stock mean???

  11. NOS denotes an intrument that is an "old" model (i.e. previous year or even a discontinued model) but is brand new -- i.e. never sold.

Right, now the bass is sold, I can comment that it definitely was NOT a NOS bass. NOS indicates it's never been sold or owned by anyone other than the dealer. Looked like a great bass though....just a bit mislabled.

When HE bought it , it may have been NOS to him, but his buying it invalidates the NOS title.
