This one is now mine!! but its missing a string!!
Congrats. That's extremely purty.
Details please... like where's a certain F named bass now and what's the story on this bass?
Nice color and neck wood!
Adrian, don't tell Brad, but I think yours is purdier!
Yeah, that fretboard looks like Purpleheart sapwood. That has a lot of interesting figuring and stuff. I'd like to hear more etc. when you get a chance.
Shh... me too
This was on a trade- it has a maple top, and cedar body- and yes, purpleheart sapwood board, very cool-
This Roscoe is awesome!! can you say " Monster Tone?
Brad, is the lo B on yours thundering , or what? i cant believe this lo b!!
I want one too!! What is the string spacing? I'm hoping its not that miles wide standard 19mm spacing...
really cool bass- Im glad its here!
brad- i love that 7 ! you have larger cojones than I!
I'm hoping it is.
Mine should be delivered sometime today though I may miss it. Airborne Express doesn't give a delivery window like other shippers.
That's a wild looking bass there Adrian !!!
I'm very interested to hear about how the neck sounds and feels.......I've never seen a fretboard like that !!
Beautiful bass, man. See my comments on Brad's thread re: the B string. My SKB3007 has the best I've ever encountered. Congratulations, that 6 is really sweet.
thanks PJR- the string spacing is a little wider than my MTD635.. but i like it- i will have to adjust my playing a little, but its years better than too-close string spacing. the neck is chunkier than my other basses, but maybe thats one of the reasons it sounds so good- so i dont mind. i love the bass.
that's a bona fide beauty there.
mark!! did you get that Vbass pickup thing taken care of? youre gonna flip when you hear it!! im still just getting floored by it- i made a killer Musicman model and i blend it withthe MTD and the tone is sick!! i am going to look into the RMC thing for the Roscoe, or just order another pickup from Roland- but this is the Roscoe thread!!
the best lo b's ive have found so far as well... looking forward to carrying the line.
Adrian, definitely let us know when you are carrying Roscoes. I will probably be a customer.
Geoff- its a done deal- email me- Adrian
Adrian, that bass looks amazing! Is the Fodera now history? How about the KB?
The Fodera is history- but its kinda still in the family- my friend bought it. The KB is here, but may not be for long.. i could possibly pull off keeping it- but i dont like to keep too many basses, believe it or not- if a bass isnt getting played much, its usually not here long- as in the Fodera case.. that bass was getting offers i couldnt refuse- there will be more Foderas....
Well, it sounds like you've got good reasoning...but that thing sure was pretty! I can't wait to check out your new acquisitions
