Hello all. Im writing to seek some help in figuring out what the notes will be on an 8 string bass that is tuned: Low F#, B, E, A, D, G, C and High F? I know the notes and their postitions on E, A, D and G, however I do not know how to pick out the notes on the other 4 strings. Is there a formula for finding these notes or is there a different method involved? And this is on a 24 fret neck as well. Or maybe some online sources to help me out would be great too. Thanks for all the help:)

The formula is half steps per fret. On the E string, played without fretting you get an E, finger the first fret you get F a note that is a half step higher. For the low F#, you get a G when you finger the first fret, with the B you get a C, with the C you get a C#/Db, with the F you get a F#/Gb.
