Notes on bass guitar

    Can someone direct to me to some place online that shows all the notes on a bass guitar? like I mean i want to know what note, for example, 5th fret on A string is.

    That would be D... and i forgot where i learned them but i did... and now i have them memorized... but.. i dont know where i saw them... i think it was in a book.

    You could always make one for yourself.

    This is all you will need:

    1. The starting pitch of each open string
    2. A chromatic scale

    Here is an E chromatic scale to get started:

    E F F# G G# A A# B C C# D D# E

    When you reach the octave ('E' again), just repeat said pattern over until you run out of frets.

    Keep in mind that those accidentals can be flats as well. So from a fret number standpoint, F# = Gb, C# = Db, etc.
