I saw that a while back. I was like "That is gross! Too many strings!" Then slowly...it started to grow on me. JT tries to tell all he needs is eight, but we all know he's a closet 9er. Bet he's got a closet fulla 9 string pics in a little altar, and he's not telling us, but Bill's building JT a 9er betcha a dollar. Ain't that right JT?

Yeah, I kinda liked that bass. Not enough strings though...
It really should have more necks. Two or three more could just get the job done.
    That 12 bar blues I mean :)

  7. I have already ordered the fretted/ fretless double neck version...

    Holy Manure, Batman!!

I wouldn't even know how to approach that neck. That thing's worse than a lute! Try playing the lute sometime and you'll see what I mean.

  12. No, it doesnt make me feel inadequate in the slightest... OK! I'm a big enough man with my 4 stringer, so there...

How on Earth does a human being play that monster and that I'd love to see it and hear it!

How much for a set of strings... £50?!!!!

No, answering my own teaser, it doesn't make me feel inadequate, either! Seems a bit much.

Frankly, I find myself, at least with the classic rock group, playing my four stringed basses more than the five. Only time I really miss it is those boogies and similar tunes in G or D.

    gawd, that's SOOOO over-done .

i mean, why would ANYBODY EVER need that many strings - that's TOTALLY STUPID and USELESS.

must be COMPENSATING for some INADEQUACIES in some other REGION.

    ;)

Boy two or three more strings and it would look like a harp... hehe 5 is still enough for me. :)

  16. now, that´s alot of strings!!!

I think my 5-er is enough for me...

although, I do feel small when I look at that bass!!

    ;)

    >must be COMPENSATING for some INADEQUACIES in some other REGION.

That's what I said, in so many words, in emails to a couple of my bassist buddies (midgetd***). Didn't mention it here in case I'd offend certain multistrung personalities in the forum ;-)>
