    Never got the Human Base offer I was hoping for- but I've seen a few instruments for sale I'm interested in. The Lakland is now on the block for $1300 OBO shipped and insured lower 48.

    Lakland Skyline Joe Osborn Dude Pit Limited Edition- Sherwood Green, Matching headstock, Tort guard, Passive- with Dimarzio Ultra J pickups. Excellent Condition, with a nice SKB hardshell.
    Very sweet and VERY rare.

    I can't find any evidence that this bass had the East J Retro preamp, making it even rarer than a normal DPLE 1 (only 26 or 28 were built, 3 of which were passive I think).

    (UPDATE: Confirmed by a previous owner that this is one of 3 passive basses in this limited edition run)

    sold pending payment. Still looking for a Human Base and should have cash in hand any minute. Anybody????
