Did it ever occur to you all that most Doublenecked basses (and electric guitars in general) don't live up to their potential of offering two instruments in one?

And then there's the fact that most double necks look like a single neck counterpart from the company which made them.

So after cut and pasting two pictures and merging them using Paint I came up with this:

This doubleneck would be perfect for my personal needs, and I don't have to switch basses between songs.
  2. mmm... geddy heaven! :hyper:

I would rather switch basses then play that.
  7. Make mine a "Fendwick," please. (Fender/Warwick)

Oh, and we'll have to find a way to keep the weight under 10 lbs. I'm old, out of shape, and I just hate heavy basses.

Man, every time I see that bass I'm just like... I don't know. without words maybe? How many kinds of wood are in it? 50? sheesh.
  13. Just looking at that thing gives me a headache. I dunno how anybody could deal with so many strings but I tell you what, I'd be more than happy to take a stab. Just out of curiousity, just how heavy is it?

abark, i remember jT saying that it was well over 26 pounds. If I remember correctly it was pushing mid to upper 30's.

As far as that photoshop monstrosity.. anyone want a Rickenfender? :D

If the Fender side of that Fendenbacker was a five string, I would be drooling right now.

I will need a steel-reinforced back for that, not just a steel-reinforced neck... ;)
