Now I remember what I miss about this place...

...it's the intellectual stimulation.
After just 10 minutes mulling around General Instruction and Miscellaneous, I've already come across several discussions that could easily have turned into heated arguments, but instead were kept civil and, so far at least, nobody seems to be offended or hurt by anything that's been said.

It's been a while since I was last around TB, and I've been trying to find some people that I can have some serious intellectual conversations with, hopefully without dropping into the realm of potty humor, but every now and then it's not so bad.

I miss being able to disagree strongly with someone without being misunderstood or misread as attacking them, but rather just giving my opinion on a subject, then hearing their response to my words, and responding to theirs until we reach some sort of conclusion, or I have to go to class or sleep or something else equally as useless.

I just wish I could say the same thing about my girlfriend.
