So I received my Super Symmetry yesterday and was PUMPED. I have a very modes setup as I do most of my playing at home (P-bass > Super Symmetry > amp). When I turned everything on and stepped on the SS the noise level was AWFUL (super loud). I don't believe for a moment its the pedal (Darkglass makes awesome products). I believe this is because (and I am a bone-head) I was using a very old boss power supply. Yep, good decision on my part $300 pedal and use a 15 to 20 year old power supply. ANYWAY, I want to be sure I buy the proper power supply. Darkglass says to use a "Regulated 9V DC Adapter with a Center-Negative plug". It appears the Livewire PH1700 9V Slimline fits the bill. However, I was wondering about the 1 SPOT - Space-Saving 9V DC Adapter. In reading the description of the 1 SPOT I don't find anything about a center-negative plug. Does anyone have any experience with either of these?
