NPD: Teisco Interface

  1. Yes, that Teisco. Now run by an enthusiastic Singaporean company. I got it mostly to replace my Apogee Jam, for more flexibility with running into my Mac for GarageBand. It definitely does that. It can run the audio back out from GarageBand into the amp. How advantageous is that for me? TBD. With my Apogee, I used a signal splitter to go out to my amp and my Mac individually. This simplifies routing a lot, although it can't do that, which I thought it would. But having the signal that would be recorded into GarageBand coming out through my amp could be cool. Plus I can sample software effects in GB and hear them through my amp. We'll see how this works out for me in the long run, but at least it simplifies things for me over the Apogee. Plus I was really impressed that it came with two 6' USB-C cables, one to USB-C and one to USB-A. And Teisco support is super nice and helpful. The pedal is larger and heavier than I was expecting, but I only plan to use it at home, so that makes no difference.
