NPD x 2 - mxr bass distortion and suf sonic generator

Had these a little while but wanted to get over the honeymoon phase plus try it with my head and cab before doing this...

Bass distortion - had an OG turbo rat that I always wish had a clean blend... never found anything that scratched the itch... wow... the led mode of the bass distortion with a little clean blended in is just the tone I always had in my head... just that full on mid grind but making sure you don’t lose any lows as well! The controls are pretty simple and I guess most people know the rat sound but this just rocks...

stomp under foot sonic generator - I’ve had muffs before... never seemed to like them... sound great solo but that’s it. Closest I came before was a super collider with mids knob but it was still dark / scooped...
Been wanting something to keep low end considering my octave fuzz is all I’ve been using lately and well this is just such a keeper. The low end feels like it has more low end than my mbd1, or you could go to real treble mode... and the mids knob does full scoop to bump. I’ve just never played such a full “bodied” muff that can have mids and lows and sound full yet muff like.

only minor complaints are power jacks on the side for both pedals and I wish could do a bass and treble eq instead of just a one knob “choose either” tone stack...
