Going in to mod a friends bass, just an on/off toggle a la Nikki Sixx's Blackbird. Can anyone who has one of these pop open the cavity and draw me up a wiring diagram?

I don't know exactly how the NS is wired, whether in series or parallel. Shouldn't be too much different from these two...

Resurrecting this post as I am in the same situation and the pics PC posted are no longer available. I want to mod my goth t-bird in the same fashion as the NS Blackbird. Can anyone provide a wiring diagram or if you own a Blackbird take a picture of the control cavity and post it? Thanks!

Just run both the bridge and neck pickups to the 'on' terminal of the switch, then connect the switch to the 'tip' terminal of the jack. Connect the grounds of the pickups and the bridge to the 'ring' of the terminal. Simple.
