Well! 1300 came along, so I wandered to the stable to choose my trusty steed for the day. I got a good one, with a decent seat height. View attachment 3870544 I put the address into Google Maps, and tootled away. The pick up was uneventful. I returned to the Bahnhof, put the bike into the corral, and took the bus back. I have no interest in riding to the top of the hill. Anyway, here's my new toy! And it is, literally, a toy. Cigarette on the bridge for scale. Since I can't do anything with it, I decided to hang it in the Ivy. Hopefully It'll be enveloped by next year.
I got a blue one while my wife and I were on vacation in Hawaii a few years ago. Like you said, basically just a toy but fun to pick up occasionally.
Well! I was out on the porch just now, and it just dropped right off the wall! I'm very surprised it held that long! Thus endeth my ukulele journey.
