Nuevo Wal-o

  1. So I kinda missed my Mach II, but not too much since I traded it toward my Fodera. But I got a chance to get this ivory white Mach I so I went for it:

Very nice, I want one!!!!! :)

  3. Whoa. That's very...'80s. Probably sounds like the voice of God, though. :D

How's the neck? I've always wanted to try a Wal fiver but never got the chance.

  4. Haha..."I hear the 80s are making a comeback!"

Anyhow, the neck on this one is kind of thick with a a pretty pronounced V. My Mach II was the same way. It's a little strange at first (feels "pointy") but for my hands, it promotes proper thumb positioning on the back of the neck.

  5. Ooh. Me like. Me have no money :(

That's really nice, and does have a huge 80s vibe.

On another note, intentionally or not, you misspelled "Nuevo" its Nouveau, I think.

if it weren't a solid color, i'd be DYING in jealousy.

but instead, i'm *merely* wounded in jealousy.

can't blame ya for not saying no to a wal, especially since you've had to part with one.

Wals sound killer. I don't like the feel so much, but those thing KICK in the sound department. Solid white isn't my first choice, but hey, a Wal is a Wal!

Still haven't played one, but I've loved recordings I've heard of Wal basses. For awhile I considered buying one, but my research indicated that Wal fivers have somewhat narrow (meaning "not wide") string spacing so I went for an MTD 535 instead, which has perfect playability for me.

Very nice! I like the white finish. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay/trade for it?

  16. Nice! Reminds me of Sting's solid white Spector, therefore I see the whole 80's relation!

That thing is really sharp looking! I bet it sounds as good as it looks!

    Nice!

It's been a while since you've bought a bass, what's up with that?!
