number of holes counted

    when counting the holes in the pickguard, do you count the hole for the pickup? i think the answer is yes, but im not sure

    Generally there are no pickup holes drilled on the pickguard.

    but this pickguard. is this 10 or 11 holes? it is 10 holes minus the pickup hole...

    they arent jsut regular holes.. they are screw holes! :eek:

    on a related note, anyone know why some fender j's have a screw hole between the neck p'up and the neck, between the A and D string.. ??

    And though the holes were rather small, We had to count them all.
