I'mma try low-F# with a set of balanced Circle K. :ninja:

I got the 55 and 130 gauges covered. So I just need files for 73, 98 and 174. Is 75 and 95 ok for slotting 73 and 98? Those are the closest gauges I've found for those 2 slots. I don't see anything anywhere near 174, so how do I go about that? Just use my 130 and rotate it back and forth? (I've done that with a .042 file to create a .046 slot, though this is way bigger.)

Could you wrap some paper backed sand paper around one of the smaller files to end up with something close?

  3. I used a chainsaw file on mine :smug:

  4. Hi.

^This, and drill bits wrapped in emery paper/cloth are the age old "poor mans" bass nut files.
