Looking for best methods to build up the saddle in a plastic 5 string nut. I just got a new cheapy back up bass and the B string rattles on the frets between my finger and the nut. No amount of reasonble neck adjustment takes it away. Shimming the string does. But I need something more permanent. I'd rather not replace the nut or send it back.

Mix baking soda (powder) with superglue. Use it to fill the slot.
