Hey, so I'm a bassist (obviously) but I have a vintage guitar neck laying around my room, and I'd like to do some work on it. I have replaced all of the frets, bought tuners for it, and a replacement nut. It has an acoustic-style nut (not the little tiny things that basses have!!) and I was just wondering... what do I do to get a quality nut replacement? What do I do to prep the wood? what glues? and what is the best way to do it? thanks once again guys.
