NYC area bass needed

We are singer/guitarist, guitarist and drummer looking for a bassist available for 2x a week rehearsals, usually one weekend and one weeknight. We do originals and are looking for someone who can learn our existing material as well as collaborate with us in developing new songs. Our style of music is pretty much striaghtforward hard rock with a large variety of influences. There is a focus on songwriting and melody as well as dynamics and heavy riffs. We practice in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Experience is not required, but you must know your instrument and be able to put the time in to learn relatively quickly.
