NY'ers now paying sales tax for online purchases

    Apparently it started at the beginning of the month. Will it effect what and how much you buy online?

    will it effect me? I live in louisiana? If it happened here then yea, one of the main reasons I buy online is to save money on taxes..

    Living in Utah, Musician's Friend charges me sales tax. That's one reason I buy elsewhere. :)

    That sucks.

    If they get away with it you know other states will follow. Especially broke states like the one I live it.
