nylon wound strings

    any users of the black Rotosound nylon wound strings?
    just wondered what people thought of them, i got them on my custom p-bass fretless, sound sweet as!!!!

    I love`em. Use the Roto 88-EL's on an old fretless Ripper and
    switch between 88-LD's and T/I Acousticores on my Rob Allen.
    Won't have ta' switch-out too much longer (double due on 11/01 :D ).

    I prefer the Roto tapes over the LaBellas (just my opinion :) ).
    The Rotos are less "twangy" -- more "thuddy" and "airy" :rolleyes:.
     
  3. I have them on my fretless Stingray 5. The strings are HUGE (.115 E.. .100 A!!) and so is the sound. For me they seem to sustain more than the GHS flats I had on before and the sound is both sweeter and more powerful.
