    Hey folks,

Has anyone ever installed an OBP-1 aguilar pre into a marcus miller 4 string? I originally bought the OBP-1 for another bass I have, but changed my mind and decided to install into the Marcus.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to keep the true passive/active settings I have on the bass. Anyone happen to have a wiring diagram or anything?

    Thanks!

Aren't you gonna run into problems with the battery box? My marcus only has room for one 9v, and the OBP-1 is 18v.

I was told it runs fine with 9v.

I'm running one on 9v, works fine. It goes both ways...

There should be wiring diagrams on the Aguilar website.

    Right here.

Assuming that the MM is vol-vol-tone, you'll want this one:

And for the active/passive, this one:

The dark blue wire from the two vol's (top photo) will go to the spot where the light blue wire is on the bottom photo.
