I think I may have found my perfect bass at the Dallas International Guitar Festival a couple months back.

However, I was too awestruck by this beautiful thing and I neglected to see who made it. :(

It was a Robins egg blue/sonic blue Jaguar body with two MM pickups, a pearloid pick guard, gold hardware, rosewood and maple jazz-width neck, matching fender style headstock, butterfly tuners, and the absolutely growliest tone I have ever heard. It was around $450, and looked like it came from a factory, and the only reason I didn't leap on this was because I didn't have the cash at the time. Can anyone help in identifying this beast? Thank you!

Maybe this style but they don't do matching headstocks

I'm thinking it was probably this Stagg bass. Has the pearl picguard, closer to a fender style headstock, and it's got the matching color on the headstock.

And they're only $300 on amazon

    Confirmed, it is the Stagg...

And now for my second question: Has anyone had an experience with this bass? Or even this Stagg brand? I've never heard of them before...

Maybe Stagg isn't the way to go, judging by the fact that I'll never see that particular Stagg again, and their QC seems to be so poor... Thanks, fellow TB'ers!
