oc-2 settings, other octave pedals

I had posted a thread about the what effects to use for a sound like "Balek" by Marc Moulin and another TB'r directed to me one of your synth bass vids and the tremolo addition to the chain where you get a very similar sound. He nailed it, thanks Jumblemind. I wanted to ask about your settings on the OC-2 and if you use any other octavers. I have been planning to get soon a Mooer Octave pedal in the micr form factor and I also want to get a POG2 (I've been after a Stevie Wonder-esque clavinet kind of sound for a long time).

Possibly, but I would lean tremolo instead of delay. I can get something similar with an EHX Bass MicroSynth into a tremolo model on a Zoom BT-100. Sounds like there is some Moog Low Pass action toward the end of that clip, too.

Janek Gwizdala recently made a great vlog about recreating synth sounds on bass. He gets a sound similar to that tune with a compressor > octave > dirt > tremolo. Skip all the way to 22:45 for that chop sound. It's not an uncommon approach, but he does a great job of showing different options for each part of the chain. He's using the out-of-production Boss Trem/Pan for the hard tremolo, but you can get a similar chop with an Earthquaker Hummingbird or (again) the tremolo models on the Zoom pedals.

Try playing with just the octave 1 (left vol)and turn off the bass itself(middle vol)
And the 2nd oct(right vol) off
To me this is an amazing bass synth tone!
