    Hey fellow Tb'ers,
I feel I am on an futile search (mostly because I'm just as picky as the rest of you) for an octave pedal that can go AT LEAST one octave down and two octaves up.

I've currently got a Whammy V and would love something very similar but that takes up a little less real estate on the ol' Pedalboard.

Would ideally track a bit better on the octave down.

Anybody know of anything that would fit this niche?
I've been thinking the Boss PS-6 but haven't been able to find much as far as how well it tracks with bass.
  2. The PS-6 tracks really well on bass. I don't usually use it for octave down stuff(I have and OC-2 and like the sound more for -1). If my son actually takes his nap this afternoon instead of throwing his crib mattress across the room I'll see if I can record a couple of octave down clips.

Digitech iStomp will do this as one of its models

Else wait for the Bass Whammy or get the Whammy V

If you could you'd seriously be the bees knees. Would it be too much to ask for just a snippet of the +1 and octaves as well? you're my hero.
  5. Sure. I'm going to go do it now. I'll post clips in little bit. There are 2 modes for octaves on the PS-6. The pitch shift(polyphonic)mode sounds pretty good with dirt feeding but not so much when the PS-6 is running into dirt. The S-bend mode is mono and it sounds great either way with dirt. It sounds great bending 2 octaves up into something that oscillates. I love doing that into a Copilot Orbit. Anyway, I'll get to it.
  6. He woke up right after my last post. I'll try later.
